Pool to Koi pond conversion.

Didn't know this existed, or that people have done it. But I saw THIS on craigslist.
***
"I can convert your unused pool into a proper Koi pond, with a Bio-filter/energy efficient pump system...Much cheaper to operate than a standard swimming pool setup...Full landscape-hardscape(rocks/boulders)-decks built also...Trade for?...559-"

***

So then I googled it, and oh my goodness.

I like the slide in this one.

This next one takes a spa to pond.
Before

After

Then Katrina found this one. Good lord.

With that last one, I think maybe the owners had a money making plan in mind. Invest in this big ass koi pond conversion, raise some big ass koi fish, sell em' for some big ass money. Excuse my big ass grammar misuse.

Anyhow, I never knew about, but now that I think about it. It seems like a decent option if say its an old, damaged, or just weirdly places, shaped pool. Or even if the pump system is old. Depending how far you go, according to some message boards I stumbled on the supplies and upkeep is much cheaper than a pool. I would also think, you can add on as you go, plants, fish, waterfalls, whatever.

Well, thats some shit.
