Louie Bellson

He played with Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey and Count Basie. He suffered from Parkinson's disease and he had recently had a hip fracture. Well he Died February 14th at the age of 84.

Please give credit where it is due, pretty much none of the heavy or fast drumming would exist, or at least not in the same capacity if it weren't for Louie Bellson. He was the first person to use double bass pedals!
