THE CENTER OF AMERICA IS IN LEBANON!!! Lebanon Kansas that is. Its on a private farm. Farmer didn't want tourists stompin' all over his shit, so, a marker was placed half to three quarters of a mile away. Not too bad if you ask me. I read "Just to the south of the monument, yards away, is a covered picnic area and small four-pew chapel where a couple can take wedding vows." I then saw a photo of the chapel. Son, that's the outhouse to the picnic area!! Its small... But, I suppose you could say, a chapel, and outhouse, one in the same.
