Yes, that's right, "blower vacuum." I live in America got damnit!
I purchased an electric blower from Orchard Supply Hardware on Saturday. Tested it out that afternoon in my front yard. Man, it worked great. I blew all the leaves (still left over from that wind storm a while back) down to the street (let the city deal with that shit).
Then the true test was today (Sunday). The back yard, it was covered in all areas with leaves, redwood branches, and dog crap. Blower straight handled it like wind blowing a leaf... Literally!
So, you may be wondering, whats with all that "vacuum" hub bub. Well sir, It can also be a vacuum. It came with a bag to fill, its not just going to send leaves into your fucking face, which, to be honest, I'm alright with. (not happening.. you know, like I don't want it in my face).
Plus it can also mulch the leaves. Snap. Well, for the backyard there were so many leaves, and other yard debris, that it filled my green garbage can. So I left some for after the trash has been picked up. I may test the mulch vacuum out, fit more in the trash. We shall see.

So ya, I'm pretty happy with this investment.
It weird though. Like I'll be cleaning something else in the house, and I'll just want to blow it. Like, dude, the blower would TAKE CARE of this shit. But, I haven't...Yet.
