Washing machine.

Saturday I did a load of clothes, finished that. Threw in my two bathroom rugs in for a wash load. Then bam, washer wouldn't drain. Tried some stuff with the knobs, then realized it was going to take a bit more. I didn't have the owners manual due to them being used. So I went on the good ol' fuckin' internet.

Got some ideas, and went at it.

That above is what a washing machine looks like inside. So I took off the entry tube to the pump, un-clogged the entrance to the pump.

Put everything back together, cleaned everything up, ran a test load of some towels.

Still wouldn't drain. Pretty crappy. I'm going to this used washer and dryer place where I have always gone since I was 19, Mexican dude knows his shit, gives a warranty, and has great prices.

I could take the washing machine out into my driveway, take it completely apart, clean it out, and put it back together. I'm willing to do this... But it would ahve to be on a weekend. So, I don't know if people want to wait that long. So, I think I'm just going to buy a new one. We'll see what happens.

My washer didnt drain once, so since I had a warranty I called them out and the guy said there is just a sensor in the machine that makes it not drain properly if the load is not "balanced". I dont know if thats the issue at hand here with yours, but just FYI.

I just went balls out, and did everything I could. 11/5/11 I took it out to the drive way, dis-mantled the entire thing, cleaned it, put it back together, did the sensor reset, and now it works. So I'm not sure what worked, but it now in fact works.
