Disturbing.
I was looking up the Fresno bus routes due to my truck no longer operating. I need to complete particular tasks at work, which is now across fucking town. I was mapping out the best/easiest way to go. I then noticed something disturbing. Fresno county public transportation felt the need to set points of destination. Hospitals, malls... And Check cashing facilities.
This is the wrong mind set to have.
I'm not saying everyone who uses check cashing facilities are poor, but I believe most of the patrons of such places live pay check to pay check. Also, these check cashing shops are like the worst place in the world. People have such a hard time getting out of debt with those things, they have to re-borrow, put up autos as collateral. Its such a mess. Sure, one can argue that its their fault for doing it in the first place, but shit, lets just blame everyone. And if your saying people just use it to cash checks? what the fuck? they don't have a bank account? they can't get a bank account? Most likely someone is negative in the bank, and don't want to pay it back, or they can't get a bank account, cause they fucked themselves in the ass early in life with money, and credit. If you can't get a bank account, like, damn. It literally takes nothing. Watch out, you might not be able to get a library card.
ANY-FUCKING-WAY
Fresno?!?! What the fuck?!?! You think people ridin' the fuckin' bus to the check cashing place? FUCK YOU! I'm trying to get somewhere and use a mode of transportation that won't be a sweaty a workout (bicycle). Even when I had a car, I wished Fresno's public transport was better. ESPECIALLY AFTER BEING TO AUSTIN. Dear fucking christ, you don't need a car there. its amazing. Jaw dropping amazing.
I'm not saying Fresno needs to get on that level, but clean your bus system up you fucking assholes. There is a reason why the majority of your riders are of a certain income level. Its because your system sucks.
FUCK YOUR FUCKING COUCH.
