Yeeah.
Jim Carrey insisted on having his favorite band, Cannibal Corpse, perform in the movie. The song "Hammer Smashed Face" is taken from their third album "Tomb of the Mutilated".
Two things not at all related
Probably could have done two separate posts, but fuck it.
Also, could have spent more time on this part one, but oh well.

Warren Hellman, 1934-2011
Very interesting story attached.

The Moses Bridge by RO&AD Architecten.
The bridge is made from Accoya wood, “a high technology wood that is supposedly harder and more durable than some of the best tropical woods. It is treated with a nontoxic anti-fungal coating.” The bridge actually leads to a 17th Century Dutch fort, and the water you’re seeing is a moat that surrounds the fort.

**Also, I'm perhaps not going to be hyperlinking anymore shit, its giving me some real issues that I don't know how to fix. We'll see.
Ben Folds.
So we all know he did the two chat roulette videos of him playing the piano, and singing. Very good, very funny.
I didn't know he did some at live shows. Pretty amazing.
Dude pretty talented for real though, all that Ben Folds stuff he straight Dave Grohl'd.
Not to mention this hit.

No artistic merit.
Yum.
I'm currently enjoying an Anchor Steam "Small Beer" for a celebration of the day beer. Its good. Light, but had flavor.
A unique low-alcohol brew reminiscent of an English bitter, with a light amber color and lots of hop character, Anchor Small® Beer is certainly not small on flavor.
Made from the second runnings of our Old Foghorn® mash, Anchor Small® revives the ancient brewing tradition of creating two distinct beers from one mash – a sweeter, stronger and more expensive barleywine made for sipping, and a more plentiful drinking beer. We sprinkle warm water over the Old Foghorn mash after the first “wort” has run off, creating a second, lighter brew. Technically, both beers are "ales" because they are made with top-fermenting yeast. Like its forebears, the result is an easy-drinking “session” beer.
For hundreds of years, the term "small beer" was used in English to describe the lighter, less expensive counterpart to barleywine. In our revival of this ancient tradition, Anchor Small® Beer is resourcefulness at its best – beer begets beer.

I like how he dressed for his job. Respect & Confidence
A bus-driver in Copenhagen, Birthday. In 2010 he had no idea that a large group of people had planned to celebrate him.
