A Fictitious Argument Emerges Between Coriolis & Beaufort from c71123 on Vimeo
Some dude is quoted saying "Wow, that’s amazing!!! It looks like so many things. It’s a lazy day at the ocean, an exciting day white-water rafting, a frightening forest fire, the space shuttle taking off. And so much more. BRAVO"
This was a guys Grad show project titled "A Fictitious Argument Emerges Between Coriolis & Beaufort"

Google map Mashups
These are some pretty cool mashups, that seem to have very little to no vandalism.
Traveling? Need WiFi ? here is a Google map mashup for you
WiFi Cafes and Hotspots
Wanna know where your beer is brewed? Or if there is one near you?
International Beer and Brewery maps
If you were to start walking from your front door in any direction, what would you pass ? Where would you end up ? Now its easy to tell.
Tall Eye Google map mashup
This one made me say wow like four times out loud to myself. It shows clouds over the map. I am a huge huge fan of clouds. This is controlled the US navel research lab that updates every hour... If thats not enough, you can have it show day and night, really really amazing.
Another super fun one, Drive like a madman It even gives you an average speed, and how far you traveled, I did the boston one, I averaged 108mph. You can make your own too....
NOTE: If you don't have cable internet, you are Out of luck.

Gift Ideas for a photographer
This little round dynamo folds from a tiny 8” (20cm) diameter to a full 21” (54cm). By using its built-in cover, you can select from five different surfaces – with each one reflecting light onto your subject in a different way. Black absorbs light, solid white reflects light, translucent white diffuses light, silver reflects sharp-edged light, and gold reflects warm-edged light. Super lightweight and quite portable, this little guy can travel everywhere with you and is a great way to toss slightly hyper-realistic light onto your favorite person, animal, or object.
Available here Which is actually one of my favorite sites to drool over.

I want this BAD
This is a copy and paste for its description
Product Description
The world's greatest compact Fisheye camera is now more amazing than you ever thought possible! Not only does it have same 180-degree wide-angle view & stunning fisheye barrel distortion, but the Fisheye No. 2 adds a bulb setting for long exposures, a switch for multiple exposures on the same frame, the ability to fire both a hotshoe flash & the built-in flash, a true fisheye viewfinder, & a "full metal jacket" body treatmentWith this new arsenal, the possibilities for your Fisheye lomography are endless! Uses normal 35mm film that can be developed anywhereFeatures:"B" (Bulb) settingBy holding down the shutter button with your finger, you can keep the shutter open for as long as you like thereby inviting all the gorgeous ambient light outside to come on in. To close the shutter, merely release the button"LNB" variable exposure switchUse this to control your Fisheye 2's shutter timing. " L" locks the shutter so itcan't accidentally fire. "N" shoots a normal, instant exposure (1/100 sec, f/8). "B" or "bulb" selects Fisheye 2's long exposure capabilities as detailed aboveStandard Flash Hotshoe & Built-In Electronic FlashUse this to sync a Lomographic Colorsplash Flash or any other manual hotshoe flash to your Fisheye 2. The flash will fire when you hit the shutter release. You can also use the internal (built-in) flash as wellMultiple Exposure Switch (MX)This allows you to take two or more
Andy Jenkins.
Andy Jenkins is a pretty heavy hitter in art for Girl Skateboards, and family companies. If you go to Bend Press/ Andy Jenkins he is selling about fifty 5 inch by 5 inch pine with paintings on them. Here are a few of my favorite.

Lucy daughter of the devil.
if you have some time to spare go to Youtube, and type in "Lucy daughter of the devil".. Watch them, they are good.
Stussy has gone down a notch/ Surfs up asshole
I'm pretty pissed about this. For two reasons, some may consider my second reason to be the prominent. But, my first reason for not liking this is because one of the boards is a fucking surf board. Fuck Surfers. Surfing is sorta fine if you just do it cause you are at the beach. But otherwise Fuck that, and them. I hate surfers with all my fucking soul. My second reason is its an obvious crap copy of fourstars skate pirate
, I hold that shit close to my heart, Fuck you stussy.
I want one of these Jackets.
Dr. Romanelli Surgical Strike Special Edition. Last month, jacket customizing dude Dr Romanelli released his Surgical Strike line of jackets. Themed after vintage military stylings,it seems the man has got a handle on cutting and sewing to produce innovative and creative designs suited for the everyday. The jackets seen here are Special Edition releases from the Surgical Strike collection. These jackets will be available at Isetan Mens and Soph. Shop.
+41 242 Skateboards Hubble Series
Switzerland's +41 hit the drawing board to design the Hubble Series for their country counterparts 242 Skateboards. Based on the Hubble telescope, the graphics seen on the tees and decks all feature shots of outerspace. Available now through +41.
Check out the link for the Hubble Telescope, its pretty interesting.

Fresno schools and Eee PC's
Remember one of my posts talking about Fresno unified schools buying One thousand Eee PC laptops? Well, they did in fact, they also got them installed with Windows XP and some key windows programs, such as word, and excel I'm sure. Also Eee PC's just released a 2G model. I know I know, 2G, but for a 7inch laptop that is flash memory, and only $399, that is pretty rad. They look so cool.

FedEx
My good friend JohnL works for the leading logistics services company. FedEx is a syllabic abbreviation of the company's original name, Federal Express. I was thinking about them a little today. Their logo is pretty standard, but might have some symbolism that you don't always notice.
It was created by Mr. Lindon Leader in 1994. He was Senior Design Director at Landor Associates, San Francisco. It has won over 40 Design awards. He had to manipulate the fonts "Univers 67" and "Futura Bold." The concept of an arrow is put into the design.

Lack of updates.
I've been pretty sick for the last week or so, and actually am still quite sick.
But, I am determined to update this with some rather interesting entries. I hope you enjoy.

Coconut charcoal.
Phone of the fuckin' future !!!
Is the mobile phone really mature enough for brick phones to make a retro comeback? According to the makers of the ironically named Mini MOB, the answer to that is yes. The Mini MOB is definitely designed in the retro brick phone style, but at only 3.5 cm wide, it could probably be considered a scale model. It includes some pretty standard specs -- camera, MP3 player, 128 MB card for the SD slot -- but also happens to have an amazing battery life of 30 days standby, and a full 72 hours of continuous talk time! That's almost enough to get a decent amount of people interested in picking one up, but at £160 ($320+) its not going to be an easy decision.
This is by far the best thing I've seen in awhile.

New Balance 574 Transportation Pack
New Balance Released these mid time last month. a new exciting pack, the Transportation pack. It consists of three 574's and celebrates the different transportation channels used by the brand to ensure the arrival of their product on time.
The M574 "Sea" is dominated by brown colors on the upper and features nautical charts printed on the upper as well. The tongues tag shows an anker and the on the back heel they embroidered a cargo ship.
The M574 "Air" comes in colors reminding us of UPS. Also they printed air charts on the sneaker, added an aviation logo tag on the tongue and of course embroidered an airplane on the back heel.
The M574 "Land" comes with a grey suede upper, which stands for the road. Road maps are printed on the shoe as well. Tongue tab logo shows the interstate signage and heel tab features a cargo container truck. Via Random Ramblings.
Each sneaker is limited to 574 pairs worldwide and each sneaker is individually numbered on the tongue. The New Balance 574 Tranportation Pack was launch November 17th, I have liked these since I saw them.
